About Me

My name is Michael J. Wheeler and I have been a model builder for nearly 20 years on and off (since the age of 7.) My primary area of interest is 1/24 scale Corvettes and armored vehicles from all across the history of warfare, though I really don't like to box myself in because this can lead to boredom. In addition to my main subjects I also build aircraft, ships, spacecraft, figures, and sci-fi figures. I am an avid history buff especially the second World War and the maritime Edwardian period (1900-1915). My other interests include computers, gaming, heavy metal, and playing bass as well as the outdoors around my Northern California home.
